Obtaining
Plaster Powder
Plaster Powder is created by heating Gypsum Powder in a Ceramic Bucket or Ceramic Vessel and firing it in a Firepit. Since the required temperature is so low, it is a better use of resources to craft Plaster Powder in the Firepit, but it can also be heated in the Kiln or Pit Kiln

Plaster of Paris is a shapeless recipe of Plaster Powder and a Wooden Bucket of Freshwater.
Usage
Plaster of Paris will work on wooden plank blocks, mud bricks, wattle and daub, stone bricks, and smooth stone.
Hold a Mason's Trowel in your hand while having a bucket of Plaster of Paris in your hotbar and Right-Click on a block. Plastered plank blocks are fireproof, and plastered mud bricks will be resistant to rain. If you do not use all the plaster in the bucket soon enough, it will harden in the bucket and make it unusable.
