Obtaining

Steel is a Tier 4 Metal. It is obtained by working Pig Iron on an Anvil constructed of iron or better to produce High-Carbon Steel which requires further work on an anvil to produce useful Steel. Steel Ingots can be welded together into Double Ingots on an Anvil constructed of Wrought Iron, a tier 3 metal in order to construct a Steel Anvil which is required for working Steel Ingots to make heads for Tools or Weapons and Armor as well as welding Black Steel Ingots, into Double Ingots in order to construct a Black Steel Tier 5 Anvil.

Steel Ingots are worked on an Anvil to make the heads for:

Axe	Chisel	Hammer	Hoe	Knife
Pickaxe	Prospector's Pick	Saw	Shovel	Scythe

Steel Ingots are worked on an Anvil to make the heads for:

Javelin

Steel Double Ingots are worked on an Anvil to make the heads for:

Mace	Sword

Steel Sheets and Steel Double Sheets are worked on an Anvil to make Armor:

Helmet	Chestplate	Greaves	Boots

Steel Double Ingots can be used to make an Anvil:

Flint & Steel can be created using wrought iron, or steel ingots.

Unshaped Steel is used in the mixing of

Red Steel	Black Steel	Blue Steel
