Terrafirmacraft 1.7.10

The original Terrafirmacraft (TFC or TFCraft) started development in 2012[1], by Bioxx. It was inspired by the game Dwarf Fortress, with the goal of making Minecraft more believable. Initially, development was focused on making the world generation more realistic, but Bioxx quickly realized that the core problem affecting Minecraft's believability was resources. Bioxx believed that resources were too easy to get, making Minecraft, in his words, "Creative Mode on hard". Later, Kittychanley and Dunkleosteus joined the development team, but Dunkleosteus later left. Development on the original Terrafirmacraft stalled in 2016.

TFC-The New Generation 1.12.2+

Terrafirmacraft-The New Generation (TFC-TNG, or TFC), is the official fork of Terrafirmacraft which aims to port the original Terrafirmacraft to versions beyond 1.12.

Terrafirmacraft+

Terrafirmacraft+ is a continued fork of Terrafirmacraft by Dunkleosteus, started in 2018. Dunkleosteus initially started working on a personal build of Terrafirmacraft soon after he left the original development team to add features that Bioxx had rejected from the official version. Development continues to add features that are inspired by the original Terrafirmacraft vision.
