Obtaining Tools
Glassworking involves three main tools, the Ceramic Vessel, the Sheet Mold, and the Blowpipe.

Like all clay tools, the blowpipe must be fired before it can be used. This can be done in a Pit Kiln or Kiln. The blowpipe can also be used as a less effective version of a Bellows by crouching and Right Click on a firepit or forge. This will raise the heat in the firepit or forge temporarily.
Materials
Glass is made from three primary materials, Silica Sand, Lime, and Soda Ash (or Ash). Silica Sand (Quartzite, Granite, Chert, Rhyollite, or Phyllite) can be found on some beaches. Silica sand will display a tooltip in the inventory indicating that it is silica sand. Lime can be obtained by heating sea shells or fluxstone. Ash can be obtained by breaking a Firepit, while Soda Ash is obtained by letting Seaweed burn while cooking. A 160oz stack of Seaweed will create 64 pieces of Soda Ash, meaning that every ounce of seaweed will return about 0.4 pieces of Soda Ash.
Obtaining Molten Glass
Obtaining and casting glass is very similar to the process of obtaining and casting Bronze. To create Molten Glass, place equal amounts of Silica Sand, Lime, and Soda Ash into a Ceramic Vessel. 1 Soda Ash can be substituted with 2 Ash. One lime, one soda ash (or two ash), and one silica sand will make 140 units of glass.
Place the vessel into a Pit Kiln or Kiln. Once the vessel is fired, the vessel will be filled with molten glass.
Usage
A blowpipe or sheet mold can be filled with Molten Glass from a vessel, much like casting metals.
Right Clicking with a sheet mold filled with molten glass will return a Glass Pane, while
Right Clicking with a blowpipe full of Molten Glass will return a Glass Bottle. A glass pane requires 200 units of glass each, while a glass bottle requires 100 units of glass each.
Glass Blocks can be made by letting the Molten Glass solidify. Once the Molten Glass has solidified, the Glass Blocks will show up inside the vessel. Any remaining amount of glass will be lost.
The Molten Glass will stay liquid long enough to make about 5000 units of glass into glass bottles. This corresponds to 35 sand, lime, and soda ash.
Recycling
Glass Blocks, Glass Sheets, and Glass Bottles can be molten to be recycled back into Molten Glass by placing them into a ceramic vessel and firing it in a Pit Kiln. Some glass will be lost in the process of recycling.
