Black Steel is a Tier 5 Alloy. It is obtained by mixing liquid metals in a Crucible top produce Weak Black Steel.

• Weld Black Steel Ingot to a Pig Iron Ingot to create a High Carbon Black Steel ingot.
• Work on anvil to beat out the impurities and produce Black Steel Ingot.

Usage

Smithing

Liquid black steel can be poured into a Ceramic Mold to make unshaped black steel. It takes 100 units of black steel to completely fill an empty Ceramic Mold. Once the unshaped black steel is no longer liquid temperature, it can be placed in the crafting grid to create a black steel ingot. The empty mold will be returned to the inventory; although there is a chance of it breaking and being lost.

Creating an ingot will only work if the metal is in a solid state. The temperature will be carried over from the unshaped ingot temperature.
