Hide and Leather Bags are sewn from Raw Hide or Leather Bag Pieces. The pieces are cut from Raw Hide or Leather by clicking on the ground with the material in hand with a knife in inventory. In the knapping GUI, cut out an "H" shape to get two bag pieces. To sew the bag pieces into a bag, click the ground with bag pieces in hand.

Bags are an early game portable storage. They have 6 inventory slots. When the bags are empty, they stack into stacks of 4. When they have items inside, they do not stack and cannot be placed in chests, barrels, or other containers. They cannot be placed on the ground (like Ceramic Vessels or Grass Baskets). Bags do not preserve food. The bags also wear out over time as the player uses them. The Hide Bag has a durability of about 20 days. The Leather Bag has a durability of about 120 days. When the bag's durability reaches 0, the bag will be destroyed and all the contents will drop onto the ground. Note: Durability does not decay when logged off, it is based on player time, not server time.
