About

Mudbrick is a stone-age building block. It is made from Mud, which in turn is made from Dirt, Straw, and water from a Bucket. Mudbricks will dissolve in the rain and turn into dirt blocks. Placing another solid block on top of the mud brick, such as a Straw Roof, will protect them from the rain.

Obtaining

Dirt, Straw, and water from a Bucket, such as a Ceramic Bucket or a Wooden Bucket, can be used to craft Mud. Mud can then be crafted into Mud Bricks.

Mud Bricks can be dried during the day by crouching and placing them on the ground. Four of the dried Mud Bricks can then be crafted into two Mudbrick.

Use

Mudbrick is ordinarily a solid block and is not affected by gravity. Mudbrick blocks will turn into Dirt blocks (which are affected by gravity) if they are exposed to rain. A thatch roof or another solid block will protect them from rain.

Mud bricks can be Plastered to make it resistant to rain. They do not count as proper surfaces for creating a Food Prep, as they are mud.
