Slate is a light gray and brown colored stone found in the world. Mining it with a pickaxe has a chance to yield slate rocks.

Slate rock can be used to create a forge or it can be knapped into a Stone Hammer, Stone Shovel, Stone Hoe, or Stone Axe.

Smooth slate can be used for decoration, and slate bricks can be used to construct a bloomery.
