Redstone Dust can be obtained by grinding down Cinnabar or Cryolite in a Quern.

Usage
The primary use of Redstone Dust is to ignite the Powder Keg. Redstone can also be used for basic redstone circuits just as in vanilla minecraft, however there are no other redstone devices other then the redstone torch, note block and Redstone Comparator.

Usage

Ammonium Chloride Powder can be combined with Water in a Barrel to create liquid Ammonium Chloride. Cotton Bolls can then be used to apply Ammonium Chloride to Copper Roofs in order to add a green patina to them.
