Hot Water cannot be consumed or crafted. It can only be collected with a Red Steel Bucket. While a Player is standing or swimming in Hot Water, they get a buff to their Health regeneration.

Tannin Water cannot be consumed. Source blocks can only be collected with a Red Steel Bucket to be placed in a Barrel where it can then be used as Tannin. A Red Steel Bucket can also collect Tannin from a Barrel and place it in the world as a source block.
